vmware client instability release 1.4

Hi all
i have a stability problem with the last build 1.4 and the same with 1.1

after a few hour of activity the vmware client close itself or show a strange behaivour like black screen, or screen freeze and so on ... i need to restart the system to make it work again

any ideas?

this problem happen while client is idle or during normal usage?
Try to collect some log (normally located in the /tmp folder). To do that edit the /etc/fstab file, comment the line "tmpfs /tmp tmpfs nodev,nosuid 0 0" and reboot the rpi board.

i need to test it i'm using the beta image because is the only one stable!

the problem happen in both cases

I had similar symptoms, solved commenting the overclock parameters in /boot/config.txt

I will retry with overclocking after I place coolers on chips.

You can find in one of threads here in the forum a link to a very usefull documents about overclocking the Raspberry Pi 2.
