I am not really used to Linux/raspbian so maybe may question is very easy for some of you.Blush

I use four raspberrys with RPi-TC 2 Release 1.4 they all are behind a proxy.

So how can i set up this proxy? Can i change it somewhere in the settings?

because after sometime of use i always have to rewrite the sd-card because they start to get some problems.

RE: Proxy
I'm new to all of this myself, so I could be misunderstanding the question but you can set the proxy within IceWeasel [internet browser] by going to Preferences>Advanced>Network and selecting "Settings".

RE: Proxy
For http and ftp traffic on the command line
export http_proxy=http://: export ftp_proxy=http://:

If your proxy requires login/authentication, you can use the format:
export http_proxy=http://username:password@::

To have this applied every time you log in, edit your .bashrc in rpitc home dir, for example:
export http_proxy=
export ftp_proxy=
