Horizon View Hardware De/Encoding
Hi,
Im currently playing around with this beautifull project which seems to have great potential ![]() Buuut, im running into some problems with the Horizon View client. Im running Horizon 7.0.1 with nVidia GRID GPUs. Everything works great exept sound and video. If i for example bring up an Youtubeclip everything gets choppy, sound breaks and gets crappy every other second and the video and sound gets out of sync. Whan i check the CPU performace chart on the Pi i notised that it peeks at over 100% when i bring on audio/video. This makes me beleve that the Pi don't use the Hardware H.264 de/encoder but running a software encoding insteed. I have installed all the Libs that WVmare wention in their guide for the Linux Horizon Client which made the sound a bit better but far from acceptable. Does anyone got any tips on how I can enable the Pi Hardware H.264 de/encoder for the Horizon View client? Everything works great when running from a windowsclient and im running on a local 1G LAN so it shouldt be an networking issue. Thanks in advance for any tips on how to get this running ![]() /Björn |
