Hardfloat image
Hello Gibio,
Really pleased with your project and the forums make it much easier to learn more about your great work! Just curious if your images are all based on softfloat only still? Thanks! |

RE: Hardfloat image
Images are armel just because vmware view client and citrix packages for RaspberryPi are armel softfloat. There is (like citrix client) some specific pakages for armhf but it didnt works on RaspberryPi.
As we can read on the Citrix website: "ARM (armel) binaries are compiled for the ARMv5 architecture. ARM hard float (armhf) binaries are compiled for ARMv7, and hence do not support ARMv6 architectures (such as the Raspberry Pi)" |

RE: Hardfloat image
Thank you for the explanation. I use only rdesktop for our remote connections. I was hoping to be able to use USB over IP sofware VirtualHere but it only works on Hard Float.
Thanks for the reply. |

RE: Hardfloat image
If anyone is interested in a hardfloat image...Gibbio has provided one for us that has the latest version of rdesktop installed. Working great so far for me!
