Here is same video on hacked version of dfreerdp running on RPI (overclocking: 900/500/450)without X running, screen resolution is 1920x1080x16. RDP server: windows 7 x64 with disabled (set to Low) encryption level.

thats great! Have you rebuilded dfreerdp for soft or hard float? I want to add it to RPiTC distro if possible Smile

Hard float. Its based on stable-1.0 branch. Also it seems its not final yet - I still make changes there from time to time Smile
It can be build similar as described for usual directfb there:
With except of another sources TAR url - and recommended command line to run in fullscreen mode is something like
dfreerdp -g 1920x1080 -f --direct-surface servername
where --direct-surface option makes video memory be actual drawing surface that minimizes intermediate copyings.
Also maximum performance achievable when compression not used and encryption configured to be minimal, that canbe done at first by specifying --no-tls in command line and by changing in server's policy rdp encryption level to Low, like described there:
Sure its understandable that doing so recommended only in trusted environment.
